Senior Backend Engineer (Media Streaming Platform)

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and enhance backend services for a large-scale media streaming platform. You'll work with a global engineering team on video streaming technologies, encoding workflows, and server-side advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services for media streaming applications.
• Work with AWS services to support scalable streaming solutions.
• Implement and maintain video encoding workflows.
• Develop and optimize server-side ad insertion (SSAI) capabilities.
• Integrate and work with AWS MediaTailor.
• Collaborate with engineers to build reliable and scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Strong backend development experience.
• Experience with backend video streaming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with AWS MediaTailor.
• Experience with video encoding workflows.
• Experience with Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI).
• Understanding of ad technology.

Nice to Have

• Experience building large-scale media streaming platforms.
