We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with over 8 years of proven expertise in building and scaling robust services. This role is perfect for someone with deep knowledge in C#, .NET, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps combined with a strong aptitude for debugging and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems using C# and .NET technologies.
- Lead the design discussions and implement best practices for service-oriented architectures and microservices.
- Drive the evolution of the existing platform to the next level by leveraging cutting‑edge technologies and strategies to ensure a future‑proof and scalable infrastructure.
- Ensure high‑quality unit and integration tests where required.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues with a strong emphasis on debugging skills.
- Optimize system performance through proactive analysis, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives along with observability tooling.
- Mentor junior engineers and share deep technical expertise across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers, to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Contribute to agile processes and drive continuous improvement in development methodologies and practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new tools and practices to enhance the technical stack.
- Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap of backend services.
Experience and Requirements
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure cloud services such as Key Vault, App Config, various queueing products, and ADB2C.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
- Extensive database design experience with SQL and NoSQL.
- Extensive caching strategies and related experience.
- Command over codebase architecture and organization with relevant design patterns.
- Good to have: Previously worked in a fintech/proptech industry.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus (e.g., Golang, Typescript, etc.).
- Certification(s) related to Azure or cloud technologies.
- Programming experience in a related language such as Golang, Typescript, etc.
- AWS cloud native experience.
