As the first dedicated backend and infrastructure hire at AethexAI Inc, you will own the Python, AWS, and Kubernetes stack end-to-end. You will build and scale the core infrastructure for a real-time voice AI platform, making architectural decisions that define the company's technical foundation while serving high-growth markets across Africa and the Middle East.

What You Will Do

• Design and scale the core Python backend and AWS infrastructure to support high-performance, real-time voice AI workloads.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and robust performance across diverse geographic regions.
• Lead foundational architectural decisions that establish the reliability, security, and scalability of the AethexAI Inc platform from the ground up.

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Python and production AWS cloud environments.
• Strong background in container orchestration using Kubernetes and a track record of building scalable, distributed infrastructure systems.
