Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Python and Django. Build and manage RESTful APIs that support front-end applications and third-party integrations. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of services. Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to define and implement new features. Manage and interact with databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL, Mongo DB). Implement security and data protection measures. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs. Contribute to the architectural design and technical roadmap of backend systems. Mentor junior backend developers and share best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development with Python. Strong expertise in the Django framework. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL). Experience with No SQL databases is a plus. Solid understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Experience with other Python frameworks (e.g., Flask) is a bonus.
