Senior Backend Engineer – Real-time Systems
Summary
Builds and operates high-performance real-time backend systems focused on low latency, high throughput, and distributed architectures, contributing to technical decisions and engineering practices. Core stack is Node.js/TypeScript on AWS, with Kafka and Rust as nice-to-haves.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a team building high-performance real-time systems operating at scale.
You will be responsible for designing and developing backend solutions focused on low latency, high throughput and distributed architectures. You will work on production systems, contribute to technical decisions and help improve engineering practices around scalability, reliability and performance.
