Senior backend engineer (remote)

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient backend services and APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern backend languages and frameworks. Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features. Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability and reliability. Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development. Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python , Java, Go, or Node.js. Solid experience with relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, Mongo DB). Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
