【The Role】

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong Golang experience to design scalable backend architecture and build and operate services for high-volume video and AI workloads.

You will work directly on BV One (AI video streaming and indexing) and BV AiM (learning platform), building the APIs, data pipelines, and services that power our products.

This role focuses on backend systems and cloud infrastructure, while collaborating with the AI team to integrate model services into production.

【What You'll Do】

➤ Build scalable backend services and APIs using Golang for video and knowledge platform features
➤ Integrate AI/ML services into production systems in collaboration with the AI team
➤ Design and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS for high-performance and reliable systems
➤ Contribute to system architecture, data models, and service design
➤ Ship production features and iterate quickly based on real-world feedback

【What We're Looking For】
Required

➤ 3+ years of backend development experience
➤ Strong experience with Golang in production environments
➤ Experience designing and building scalable backend APIs and services
➤ Solid experience with AWS cloud services (e.g. EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS)
➤ Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
➤ Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments

Preferred

➤ Experience with distributed systems or microservices
➤ Experience working with message queues or async processing
➤ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation)

Nice to Have

➤ Experience with video processing or media systems
➤ Experience integrating AI/ML services or external APIs
➤ Experience with Kubernetes
➤ Experience working in SaaS platforms
