Senior Backend / Infrastructure Engineer (AWS Serverless)
Summary
Designs and operates AWS serverless systems using Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, with IaC via Pulumi/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Backend / Infrastructure Engineer (AWS Serverless)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade serverless applications on AWS
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, and DynamoDB
- Proven experience deploying and managing infrastructure across multiple AWS regions
- Solid Infrastructure as Code expertise using Pulumi or Terraform
- Experience with near-real-time event streaming and push notification systems
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release management, rollback strategies, and multi-environment deployments
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (IoC, DRY, KISS, Single Source of Truth)
- Experience creating integration and end-to-end tests for backend, frontend, and infrastructure components
- Experience working with AI-powered development tools, prompt engineering, and multi-agent systems
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills in distributed, event-driven architectures
- English: Upper-Intermediate +
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI-driven multi-agent orchestration and conversational platforms
- Commercial experience with C#, Rust, and/or Flutter
- Experience using Pulumi with C#
- Background in EdTech, audio/video streaming, or real-time communication platforms
