Senior Backend NodeJS Developer

About the role

We are Métrica, a business consultancy, systems integration, IT services and solutions company, committed to the Information Society and technological development.

At Métrica, we are looking for a Backend Developer with more than 3 years of experience in Node.js, Express, Testing, Databases and knowledge/experience in DevOps.

What we're looking for

Backend development experience with Node.js.

Experience using Express or other similar frameworks for the development of REST APIs and web services.

Knowledge of automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.

Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.

Knowledge or experience in DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), deployment automation, environment management, and monitoring.

Nice to have

Experience with Docker and containerization technologies will be valued.

Experience or knowledge in cloud environments will be positively valued.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its infrastructure, deployment, storage, database, or monitoring services will be especially valued.
