Inside IR35: £620 per day

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join an Identity Management Services team, developing secure, scalable backend services that support critical identity infrastructure.

Desirable: GCP, networking, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs and strong debugging skills.

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join an Identity Management Services team, developing secure, scalable backend services that support critical identity infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-scale backend services using Java
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers
- Drive best practices across development, security and DevOps
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Support monitoring, logging, databases and platform resilience
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues within an Agile environment
Essential Experience
- 8+ years’ backend development experience
- Strong Java and Java framework experience
- Server-side/web development
- DevOps, CI/CD and version control
- Security and identity management
- Relational databases, monitoring and logging
- Technical leadership/mentoring experience
