Role Overview
Gentle Collective Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Beautician / Beauty Salon Supervisor to provide professional facial and beauty treatments while supervising daily treatment operations and supporting the development of our beautician team.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain high standards of service, treatment safety, hygiene, customer care and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform professional facial and beauty treatments, including client consultation, skin assessment and treatment recommendations.
Safely and confidently operate a range of facial and beauty treatment equipment.
Assess clients’ treatment suitability and customise treatment procedures according to their skin condition and needs.
Train, coach and provide hands-on guidance to junior beauticians on treatment techniques, equipment use, hygiene standards and customer service.
Supervise beauticians and monitor the consistency and quality of treatments provided.
Develop, implement and maintain treatment protocols, operating procedures and service standards.
Ensure that treatment rooms, tools and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitised, maintained and operated safely.
Manage treatment products, consumables and retail inventory, including monitoring stock levels, recording usage and arranging replenishment.
Assist with staff scheduling, daily salon operations and allocation of appointments.
Handle client feedback professionally and assist with resolving treatment- or service-related concerns.
Maintain accurate client treatment records and ensure proper follow-up care.
Support management in improving salon procedures, staff performance and overall customer experience.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years of relevant hands-on experience in facial treatments, beauty therapy or salon services.
Demonstrable experience in supervising, mentoring or training junior beauticians.
Strong practical knowledge of facial procedures, skin assessment, treatment preparation, aftercare and hygiene requirements.
Experienced in operating and maintaining various facial and beauty treatment equipment.
Able to independently manage treatments and respond appropriately to clients’ skin conditions, sensitivities and treatment concerns.
Experience in inventory control, stock monitoring and salon operational administration.
Good leadership, communication, customer-service and problem-solving skills.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, as the role involves conducting consultations with English- and Mandarin-speaking clients and training team members who use either language.
Able to work according to the salon’s operating schedule, including weekends and public holidays where rostered.
Relevant beauty therapy, facial treatment or equipment-operation qualifications would be an advantage.
