Senior BI Data Engineer

Mission Overview:

As a Senior BI Data Engineer, you will be part of the Business Intelligence team and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data platform at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. You will ensure reliable, high-performance, and scalable data solutions to support reporting, analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Data engineering and integration
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL and ELT processes.
• Integrate data from various internal and external sources.
• Develop and optimize data warehouses and data marts.
• Implement dimensional data models following proven methodologies such as Kimball.
• Implement data solutions in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Support the further development and modernization of the BI platform.
• Monitor the performance, stability, and scalability of data solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Support for the development team
• Assist ETL and BI developers with complex technical analyses and implementations.
• Advise on the most suitable technical solution within existing architecture and development standards.
• Support with performance issues, data integration challenges, and complex incidents.
• Contribute to the development and application of technical standards and best practices.
• Share expertise in SQL Server, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and dimensional modeling.
• Act as a technical point of contact for complex data-related issues.

Profile:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical expertise combined with a pragmatic approach.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues.
• Fluent collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to share expertise and support colleagues.

Positioning within the BI team:

The Senior BI Data Engineer is a senior technical expert profile without managerial or coordinating responsibilities. The BI Lead is responsible for the strategic direction of the BI landscape, architectural choices, prioritization, and alignment with the business. The Senior BI Data Engineer supports the execution of this vision through their technical expertise.

The focus of this role is not on managing staff but on designing and implementing data solutions and supporting existing ETL and BI developers with complex technical issues. This role contributes to the continuity, quality, and maintainability of the BI platform and serves as an important technical support for the development team.

Work Regime:

2 days in the office and a maximum of 3 days remote work per week.

Language Requirements:

One of the two national languages is native. The other national language must be read and understood.
