Management Duties & Responsibilities
- Champion of BIM
- BIM Manager role in Projects
- Planning of BIM Resources and Training
- Involvement with work-related committees (external or internal) including BIM Centre of Excellence (CoE)
- Establish, implement and manage CPG BIM Standard
Project Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the BIM Project Execution Plan
- Integration of BIM/Revit into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction (VDC) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
- Audit Project Team’s BIM Project Execution
- Generate clash reports and lead BIM coordination meetings with clients and consultants
- Multidisciplinary Coordination, including Phase Planning (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D)
- Helpdesk for BIM issues
- Design, scripting, and utilization of BIM related tools
Other Expectations
- Integration of BIM/Revit into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction (VDC) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in BIM and continual improvement and mastery of BIM
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant BIM Management experience. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a BIM Coordinator role.
- Experience in BIM coordination with consultants, particularly for infrastructure and healthcare projects, and implementation of BIM in the construction process is preferred.
- Knowledge of Singapore BIM Guide and ISO 19650 standards; BCA Academy BIM Modelling and BIM Management courses would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Autodesk AEC software, including Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks and Navisworks Manage; knowledge of Dynamo is preferred.
- Strong leadership and client management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a BIM team.
- Good command of English with strong interpersonal and communication skills; a collaborative team player.
- Hands-on, positive and proactive, with a strong interest in BIM innovation and continuous improvement.
- Meticulous, well-organised and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
