Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the BIM Manager in managing and coordinating BIM activities for a large-scale hospital construction project.
  • Lead day-to-day multidisciplinary BIM coordination between architectural, civil & structural, M&E and specialist trades.
  • Develop, coordinate and maintain BIM models in accordance with project BIM requirements and standards.
  • Review BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with approved design information.
  • Conduct clash detection and coordination using Revit, Navisworks and other relevant BIM software.
  • Identify, analyze and coordinate the resolution of clashes and design interface issues.
  • Coordinate with architects engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve BIM and technical coordination issues.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding clashes and coordination matters.
  • Prepare clash reports, coordination reports, model review reports and other BIM-related documentation.
  • Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure models and drawings are updated according to project schedules.
  • Coordinate architectural, C&S and M&E models and ensure proper integration between disciplines.
  • Review shop drawings, coordination drawings and model outputs to ensure consistency with approved BIM models.
  • Incorporate approved design changes, RFIs, technical submissions and site instructions into BIM models.
  • Support construction teams by providing coordinated BIM information and constructability solutions.
  • Assist in identifying potential construction conflicts and sequencing issues through BIM coordination.
  • Coordinate with M&E Modellers, BIM Modellers and discipline coordinators to maintain model quality.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining BIM modelling standards, naming conventions and workflows.
  • Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of as-built BIM models based on actual site conditions and approved records.
  • Support quantity take-off, construction sequencing and other BIM applications where required.
  • Maintain proper records of model revisions, clash reports, coordination meetings and BIM submissions.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to BIM Coordinators and Modellers.
  • Assist with project completion, handover and digital information requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in BIM, Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant BIM experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination for large-scale building projects.
  • Experience in hospital, healthcare, institutional or complex building projects will be an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
  • Good knowledge of BIM modelling, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Experience coordinating architectural, C&S and M&E models.
  • Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, BIM standards, LOD requirements and model management.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
  • Knowledge of Singapore BIM requirements and construction practices.
  • Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and constructability.
  • Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple coordination issues within project deadlines.
