Senior Board Design Engineer
Description
As a Board Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of electronic hardware at the core of Skapion's Native Counter-Swarm Platform. You will be responsible for board-level architecture, schematic design, hardware integration, bring-up, validation, and production support. Working closely with system, software, mechanical, and integration teams, you will transform complex operational requirements into reliable, field-proven hardware solutions deployed in real-world defence environments. This role is intended for a hands-on Board Design Engineer with strong technical fundamentals and the ambition to grow into ownership of complete hardware subsystems. Beyond board design, you will gradually take responsibility for technical decisions, multidisciplinary integration, and end-to-end delivery of hardware assemblies within the system. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy complex electronics, taking ownership, solving multidisciplinary challenges, and seeing their designs progress from concept through field deployment.
The Mission
Some problems are too urgent to wait. Skapion is a defence-tech company building a Native Counter-Swarm Platform, designed from the ground up to intercept and defeat the threat. We are backed by top-tier investors and recruiting at full steam.
Why Join Skapion?
• Build it from day one. Design the hardware architecture instead of inheriting someone else's. Your boards will define how the system performs.
- See your work in the field. Take your designs from schematic through bring-up to field testing and production.
- Real, visible impact. In a focused team, your work matters directly to the mission and to the people who depend on it.
- Growing fast. The people who join now will help set the standard for everything that comes next.
