Senior Brand Designer (8-month contract)

Open 31d

We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer to serve as the creative architect of our marketing web presence. Please note: This is a Brand & Marketing role. We need a designer who combines high-level brand storytelling with a deep expertise in high-conversion web layout, performance marketing, and digital campaigns.

As a core member of the Brand Design Team, you will elevate and evolve our global visual identity across all web touchpoints. You will act as a brand guardian, translating marketing business goals into performant, conversion-focused digital solutions rather than managing product software workflows.

You will own the design lifecycle for landing pages, multi-channel digital campaigns, marketing web experiences, and email communications. You are a strategic creative partner who thrives on data-informed marketing metrics, balances brand impact with web technical performance, and collaborates closely with growth marketing specialists and engineering squads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic brand vision: Translate complex business objectives into scalable marketing web strategies. You define the "why" behind the design, ensuring every web and email initiative aligns with long-term brand equity and conversion goals.

  • Web brand systems architecture: Lead the evolution of our design system and email master templates. You don’t just maintain them; you architect their future, overseeing complex component hierarchies, design tokens, and modular frameworks that serve as the single source of truth for global marketing teams.

  • Technical web leadership: Act as the lead brand designer for our engineering squads, setting the standards for HTML/CSS feasibility, fluid responsiveness, and accessibility, while delivering precise, developer-ready assets to ensure a seamless build.

  • Cross-functional brand advocacy: Lead the marketing and brand design process from ideation to launch, ensuring the final web build remains true to our strict visual brand guidelines and functional quality through rigorous pre- and post-launch reviews.

  • Performance optimization: Influence digital performance of web and email communication by balancing high-fidelity creative output with rigorous optimization standards (file size, loading speed, SEO), ensuring our digital touchpoints are as performant as they are visually engaging.

  • Collaboration & mentorship: Provide guidance, feedback, and inspiration to your colleagues.

  • AI innovation & prototyping: Proactively integrate AI image generation and rapid prototyping tools (e.g. Magnific, Figma AI Suite, Claude) into the brand design workflow to accelerate ideation, streamline visual asset creation, and enhance overall team agility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related field

  • Brand advocacy: Experience ensuring the holistic, consistent application of brand standards and guidelines across all digital and design touchpoints.

  • Portfolio: Portfolio demonstrating exceptional brand identity, interactive web design, and high-performance creative work.

  • CRM & Marketing automation: Hands-on experience designing and staging assets within marketing platforms like HubSpot or brand management platforms like Frontify.

  • Track record: Proven track record of creating high-converting websites, digital campaigns, and scalable landing page systems.

  • Solid professional experience in Brand Digital Design, ideally in tech, startups, or agile agency environments.

  • Systems thinking & technical mastery: Expert proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Variables, Libraries) and scalable design patterns.

  • AI integration: Experience using AI tools (image generation, rapid prototyping) to enhance design workflows and proactively identify new opportunities.

  • Technical & web literacy: Deep understanding of HTML/CSS constraints, fluid responsive behavior, mobile performance optimization (speed, compression), and accessibility standards.

  • Strategic alignment: Ability to map user flows to business goals and teams targets.

  • Ownership & UX advocacy: Proactive approach to identifying UX friction and driving data-driven, systemic improvements.

  • Data-driven & analytical mindset: Strong understanding of marketing and web metrics (CTR, conversion rates, engagement) with a proven ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable design improvements.

  • Campaign & conversion expertise: An inspiring portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of designing high-converting landing pages, microsites, and digital advertising assets for a global enterprise.

  • Email Design mastery: Experience designing for dark mode, building modular templates, and navigating email client limitations (Outlook, Gmail)within CRMs and marketing automation platforms like HubSpot.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills; able to bridge the gap with engineering, prioritize workflows, and meet tight deadlines under pressure and without supervision.

  • Language: Fluent in English and Portuguese, with professional experience designing for global markets.

  • Employment type: Temporary full-time contract (8 month) - with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role, depending on business needs and performance;

  • Remote role based in Brazil;
