Marketing at TRACTIAN
What will you do
Responsibilities
- Translate company positioning and product strategy into distinctive visual narratives across campaigns, launches, digital experiences, events, and executive-facing brand moments.
- Own and evolve Tractian’s visual identity and brand system, defining the principles, guidelines, and guardrails that keep the brand coherent without making it rigid.
- Build visual concepts that change perception, especially where the market’s current understanding of Tractian does not match the breadth and sophistication of the company today.
- Act as an art-direction reference for high-impact work, from the first concept through critique and final execution, with enough craft to improve the work rather than only review it.
- Raise the quality and consistency bar across Brazil, Mexico, and the U.S., adapting the expression when needed while protecting a single global brand.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, and leadership to turn ambiguous business problems into strong, understandable creative direction.
- Create and improve reusable brand assets, systems, and templates so strong execution can scale without diluting the underlying idea.
- Help define how Tractian should look and feel across its most important touchpoints, including web, product storytelling, presentations, social, events, and integrated campaigns.
- Use research, market feedback, and brand-health signals to evaluate whether the work is changing perception, not only whether it looks good.
- Work with internal designers and external partners through clear briefs, references, critique, and decision-making, creating alignment without becoming a production bottleneck.
- Use modern creative tools, including AI, when they improve exploration, speed, or execution while keeping judgment and craft at the center of the process.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in brand design, visual identity, art direction, or a closely related discipline.
- A strong portfolio is required. We care more about the quality of your work, thinking, and role in the projects than about a specific academic background.
- Evidence of meaningful brand work: evolving or repositioning an identity, building a brand system, leading a rebrand, or creating a visual platform that lasted beyond one campaign.
- Excellent visual storytelling and art-direction judgment, with the ability to connect positioning and narrative to concrete design decisions.
- Deep understanding of identity systems, typography, composition, image direction, digital brand expression, and how those elements behave consistently at scale.
- Strong hands-on craft. You can personally develop concepts, design key assets, explore visual territories, and make the work materially better.
- We don’t see design as art for art’s sake. We care about real impact. If you get excited about translating great creative work into stronger perception, demand, and ultimately revenue, you’ll probably love it here.
- Comfort with direct critique, iteration, and changing constraints. You can defend a decision with rationale and change it quickly when the evidence or problem changes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to present work and negotiate decisions with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- A practical understanding of brand measurement: how to use research, surveys, brand associations, search behavior, consistency audits, or other signals to evaluate perception over time.
- We’re obsessed with improving the creative workflow with AI. We expect real fluency with Claude and related AI tools for research, ideation, creative exploration, prototyping, iteration, and getting to better work faster, plus advanced fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent professional design tools.
- English strong enough for daily collaboration and presenting work to global stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Experience working in-house on a brand over multiple years, especially after time in a strong agency or studio environment.
- Experience with a global or U.S.-focused brand and adapting one identity across different markets.
- Experience in B2B, technology, industrial, or another category where complex products need to be made clear and compelling.
- Motion, 3D, photography, illustration, or image-making skills that expand how you can build and direct a visual system.
- You’ve built or meaningfully improved AI-powered creative workflows, not just used AI occasionally when someone reminded you it exists.
- Experience partnering directly with Product Marketing, Product, or executive leadership on positioning and brand evolution.
