Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Senior Brand Manager - Marcelle for a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the Marcelle Brand Director, the Senior Brand Manager – Marcelle will lead all Portfolio and Communications efforts for the Marcelle brand. Defining strategies and implementing the annual marketing, launch, and campaign plans, you will play a key role in driving relevance with consumers and customers to maximize growth potential for this brand in both the short and long term

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

In collaboration with the Brand Director, develop the 3-5 years plan and execute the vision, value proposition, and strategy for Marcelle, aligning with business objectives
Manage and lead the Marcelle Portfolio and Communications teams, fostering a culture of high performance and expertise
Regularly update Marcelle Go-To-Market team to secure consistency from conception to execution
Work closely with Innovation and R&D to deliver a strong innovation pipeline aligned with the brand strategy and objectives
Work closely with the Creative and Media teams to bring to life launch and marketing campaigns
Translate the marketing strategies into actionable commercial plans while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team (including Sales, Merchandising, Category Management, Finance, Operations, Innovation, and external agency partners)
Be an expert on the Marcelle brand identity ensuring consistency in all touch points
Maintain an in-depth, working knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape
Analyze consumer and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
Own and deliver annual sales targets, ensuring accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and analysis of business results and key initiatives
Optimize and adjust plans to maximize delivery against revenue and profit targets
Maintain and optimize marketing budget spending / ROI
Develop and deliver various presentations for management, sales organization and trade customers on brand performance, strategy, among others
Update all decision-makers on the progress and status of product marketing plans.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum 6 to 8 years work experience or equivalent in brand marketing, sales and CPG industry (strong asset)
Experience in managing 360 campaigns
Experience in product launch and post-launch product cycle monitoring (strong asset)
Experience in creative and media agencies relationship management
Experience in team management
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to thrive in and handle ambiguity & fast paced environment
Strong business acumen and marketing capabilities
Ability to foster and maintain strong cross functional partnership skills.

Equipped with a strong understanding of the Canadian cosmetics and skincare industry
An effective communicator with solid presentation skills
Highly organized, with strong project and time management capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for quality
A critical thinker with strong analytical skills
Self-motivated, dynamic, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Goal-driven and results-oriented
Familiar with NielsenIQ (considered an asset).
