Senior Business Analyst

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced senior business analyst to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead technical business analysis initiatives, manage end-to-end requirements, and drive process improvements using agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate detailed business and technical requirements
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
• Facilitate scrum and kanban ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, model, and optimize business processes
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Identify gaps between current and desired states, propose solutions, and support implementation
• Conduct impact analysis, risk assessments, and change management activities
• Mentor and coach junior analysts on best practices in business analysis and agile methodologies

Required qualifications:

• 6–10 years of proven experience as a business analyst in technical environments
• Strong expertise in business analysis techniques, requirement management, and documentation
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining a requirements traceability matrix
• Proficiency in process mapping, workflow analysis, and process optimization
• Demonstrated experience with scrum and kanban frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, or SA Certified Practitioner
• Experience in financial services, government, or energy sector projects
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Advanced skills in SQL, data analysis, or BI tools
• Proficiency in Arabic
