Senior Business Analyst / Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, building trusted advisor relationships with client IT, operations, and senior business stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.

• Partner with the Commercial / Sales team in a pre-sales capacity to understand prospect requirements, conduct solution discovery workshops, and articulate KLN's system integration value proposition.

• Co-develop and present technical proposals, solution demos, and RFP/RFI responses with the commercial team, translating complex integration capabilities into clear business outcomes and ROI for the customer.

• Support deal closure by addressing technical objections, scoping integration effort, providing effort/cost estimates, and contributing to Statements of Work (SOW) and commercial pricing discussions.

• Conduct customer-facing solution presentations and product showcases.

• Lead the end-to-end customer onboarding process for system integration projects — from kickoff, requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, UAT, go-live, through to hypercare and handover to support.

• Own the onboarding roadmap and governance, defining milestones, RACI, risk registers, and steering committee cadence to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.

• Orchestrate cross-functional onboarding squads (Development, Implementation, Operations, Commercial) and act as the single accountable lead for customer success during onboarding.

• Drive continuous improvement of the onboarding playbook, templates, and standard operating procedures to shorten time-to-value and improve customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with customers and the Implementation team to gather and analyze system integration requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.

• Design, implement, and test system integration mappings and workflows using standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements to optimize data interchange and operational efficiency.

• Work closely with development and implementation teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices.

• Document processes, create user guides, and provide ongoing support to clients in the logistics and supply chain sectors.

• Stay updated on emerging integration and AI-driven automation technologies to drive innovation in customer solutions.

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience (less experienced candidates will be considered for Business Analyst position).

• Proven track record in leading customer onboarding for enterprise system implementations, ideally in freight forwarding.

• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing / pre-sales solutioning roles, with success stories of supporting commercial teams to win and grow accounts.

• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and modern integration formats (XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs).

• Ability to leverage AI tools and agentic AI to boost productivity and solution quality.

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

• Ability to co-sell technology solutions with the commercial team, including building business cases, and value-selling narratives.

• Skilled in solution scoping and effort estimation to support proposal and c

• Strong negotiation and objection-handling capabilities in a technical-commercial context.

• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• Project / program management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum) would be a strong plus.
