The Business Analyst (BA) for the Eqlipse application is responsible for supporting trade lifecycle processes across the organisation’s Eqlipse CCP platform for Bond and Repo products. This role involves gathering requirements, analysing trading and risk processes, designing solutions and ensuring successful delivery of system changes.
Must have technical skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Trade processing, workflows, settlement dashboards and reporting, FIX, JSON and XML messaging integration.
Understanding of Fixed Income Products (Outright Bond and Repo) including Post Trade processes and Bond & Repo product life cycle events
Knowledge of SQL, XML, and integration technologies (e.g., IBM MQ, & REST APIs).
Experience with SWIFT integration and Austraclear settlement processes.
Swift ISO 20022 and 15022 (MT54%) messaging).
Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
5+ years dedicated business analysis experience working on Agile, Lean and Waterfall projects.
Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills. Can collaborate with stakeholders across seniority levels.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage change within a dynamic environment.
Be comfortable working within a matrix structure.
Experience working with Change Management and influencing user behaviour.
Experience working independently on Tier 1 project across the full SDLC from early ideation to execution and embedment in BAU.
Experience in gathering stakeholder needs and translating these to detailed Requirements
Nice to have:
Nasdaq Eqlipse Clearing and/or Calypso experience
Experience working at an Exchange or Central Counter Party (CCP) in a clearing capacity.
