Senior Business Analyst

Summary

Senior Business Analyst designs BI reports, automates CRM workflows, and builds ETL pipelines using Power BI, SQL, and Python to support ad-tech performance marketing.

Voluum, the leading cloud-based ad tracking platform for affiliate marketers and performance marketers, is looking for a hands-on, self-driven Senior Business Analyst.


If you love solving complex business problems, digging into data, challenging assumptions, and turning manual processes into scalable automations - this role is for you.

You will support reporting, data processes, automation, and CRM management across the business. You'll bridge business goals and system realities, working closely with Voluum’s Director - translating strategic needs into clear requirements, reliable data solutions, and automation workflows - while owning complex initiatives end-to-end and acting as CRM superadmin, maintaining CRM setup, data quality, and configurations to support sales, operations, customer success, and reporting.

As a Senior Business Analyst in the BI Team, you will:

  • Design and validate end-to-end business solutions - working with stakeholders on goals, processes, and needs, and translating them into clear requirements and system-ready solutions.

  • Own complex, high-impact initiatives from discovery through rollout, coordinating across teams and facilitating key decisions.

  • Challenge assumptions, identify risks, and propose better ways of working.

  • Act as CRM superadmin, owning day-to-day CRM maintenance, configuration, access management, data structures, workflows, and process consistency.

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL, writing and optimizing queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and reliable KPIs.

  • Design, document, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines feeding dashboards, reports, and operational workflows.

  • Identify high-value automation opportunities and implement or specify solutions using Python scripts, APIs, and low-code/no-code tools.

  • Spot data-quality issues, architectural bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and technical debt, and propose mitigations

  • Prototype AI/LLM-powered solutions, including agents, prompts, and tool integrations, to improve productivity.

  • Run documentation reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote strong BI and automation practices across teams.

  • Own complex and high-impact product, reporting, or automation initiatives from discovery through rollout and success measurement.

About you

  • You have solid (3 years) experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, BI Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or in a similar role.

  • You are comfortable working at the intersection of business analysis, BI, data processes, CRM management and automation.

  • You have strong analytical skills and can translate business goals into practical reporting, process, and system solutions.

  • You have working knowledge of Power BI, including report building, data modeling, calculated measures, and KPI design.

  • You have strong SQL skills and are comfortable querying, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources.

  • You have experience with Python for analytics, automation, ETL, or data-processing tasks.

  • You have experience with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) in the scope of designing CRM governance standards, data-quality rules, pipeline processes and connectivity with other 3rd party tools.

  • You understand relational databases, CRM/data models, integrations, and business data flows.

  • You are familiar with workflow automation tools such as or similar platforms.

  • You have experience working with APIs and connecting tools or systems.

  • You have experience with LLM agent building, prompt engineering, and connecting AI tools to business workflows.

  • You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; You are confident in facilitating discussions, clarifying options, and helping teams reach decisions.

  • You have a healthy skepticism toward undocumented assumptions, unclear requirements, and inconsistent data.

  • You speak fluent English.
