Senior Business Analyst | Day Shift | Remote
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead our Business Analyst function within Product, driving product capability and innovation across the digital payments landscape in APAC and beyond.
You’ll bridge business and technology, translating commercial needs into clear, actionable requirements and technical insights into business decisions. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales, you’ll drive data-led decisions, identify growth opportunities, and shape our product roadmap to deliver meaningful customer and commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
Bridge business and technology teams by translating business requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Lead research, data analysis, reporting, and insight generation to inform product strategy and measure performance.
Identify business and product growth opportunities, assess commercial impact, and develop business cases to support roadmap prioritisation.
Own business analysis and requirements delivery end-to-end, ensuring solutions meet business needs and relevant payment and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance products, inform commercial decisions, and resolve complex business challenges.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Analyst team by establishing best practices and driving continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
Essential
At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, ideally within fintech, financial services, or digital payments.
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
Proven experience developing functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Engineering teams.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Looker, or Tableau.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project ownership skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Relevant academic qualifications in Computing, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Desirable
Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring Business Analysts.
Knowledge of APAC payment methods, regulatory requirements, and payment networks.
Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software architectures.
Experience with process mapping, Agile delivery methodologies, experimentation, or commercial modelling.
