This role requires a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Operational Resilience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in designing and executing testing exercises, particularly within banking operations. The role emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to validate crisis plans and optimize operational strategies.
Main Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Designing and planning desktop testing exercises in line with CCS objectives.
Developing realistic scenarios for stress-testing manual recovery procedures.
Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to validate operational plans.
Managing logistics and coordination of exercise sessions.
Developing materials that support high-quality execution of recovery exercises.
Tracking action items and updating senior leadership on outcomes.
Documenting findings and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborating with teams to ensure alignment in recovery and response protocols.
Key Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, or related fields.
1-2 years of focused experience on testing and recovery planning.
Hands-on expertise in designing and executing testing exercises.
Experience in the Financial Services Industry with a solid understanding of operational dynamics.
Proficient in BCCM frameworks and best practices.
Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to engage with senior leadership.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to Have
Additional certifications in Business Continuity or related disciplines.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory expectations in banking.
Other Details
This position may require the consultant to be on-site at a Nordea location a minimum of three days per week. Locations in Poland are applicable.
