We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a team supporting our client from the pharmaceutical industry and their software solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with global team members and stakeholders, primarily from the US, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, and Poland. You will be responsible for gathering requirements from scientists and business team members, providing documentation, and supporting the software development team. Your tasks

  • Gathering requirements from business stakeholders concerning the functionality and design of the application

  • Interpreting and translating business needs into a consistent product vision

  • Collaborating closely with the Product Owner and other analysts to identify optimal solutions

  • Providing communication and support for product development between business and IT

  • Facilitating large group meetings and workshops to drive consensus and understanding

  • Serving as a first line of support to users in laboratories, providing domain guidance and initial triage for reported issues

  • Ensuring a good understanding of the changing scientific landscape and its impact on business needs

  • Managing backlog and feature design, ensuring alignment with project goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements gathering, backlog management, and feature design

  • Proficiency in JIRA and agile methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of molecular biology and protein science

  • Experience in design thinking and creating user stories

  • Excellent written and spoken English, including scientific terminology

  • Ability to work in CET & PST time zones for meetings

  • Fluent in Polish

Nice-to-have requirements

  • Deep awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle

  • Understanding of feature flags and environment staging

  • Experience in facilitating Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, and Refinement meetings
