About the role
TerraBarn is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Process Consultant to lead business process assessments, facilitate cross-functional discovery initiatives, and identify opportunities for business and IT improvement. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in business analysis, process consulting, IT transformation, program management, operational excellence, or IT service management, with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate business challenges into actionable recommendations.
Key responsibilities
Lead cross-functional discovery and assessment initiatives involving business, operations, and IT stakeholders.
Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and operating models to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
Conduct current-state assessments and support the development of future-state processes and improvement roadmaps.
Translate business requirements and stakeholder needs into structured documentation and actionable recommendations.
Support IT transformation, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and project stakeholders to align business objectives and delivery priorities.
Identify process risks, dependencies, and opportunities for standardization and automation.
Prepare assessment reports, process maps, business requirements, and presentations for stakeholders.
Monitor improvement initiatives and communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
8–10 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, process consulting, IT transformation, program management, operational excellence, or IT service management.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional discovery and assessment programs involving multiple stakeholder groups.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Experience in business process assessment, requirements analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement.
Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical solutions and recommendations.
Strong documentation, presentation, and organizational skills.
