Description

Wynagrodzenie
B2B: 200 – 240 PLN / godz. netto

We're hiring a Senior Business Analyst/Consultant to own Foreign Exchange product delivery end-to-end, on an in-house-built electronic FX platform that touches everything from client-facing FX execution and payments to real-world channels like FX withdrawals from ATMs. You’ll draft requirements, shape them with business stakeholders, collaborate with the developers to implement new functionality, and test it in production. This is a role where your effectiveness comes from understanding the FX domain.

The role at a glance

  • Senior Business Analyst/Consultant

  • You’ll own and lead end-to-end delivery on an in-house-built FX platform

  • Fully remote for a top North American bank (for residents of Poland and Romania)

This role requires deep, hands-on FX product knowledge, including how spot, forward, swap, window forward, NDF flow work. To be successful, you need a genuine end-to-end understanding of how FX execution, payments, and API integrations work together. Domain knowledge matters more than years on paper, though the bar here is senior. If you like owning a problem from a vague client ask through to production, and want real autonomy on a stable, well-built platform, join us.

Why join us?

  • Real-world scale and reach: this platform touches everything from institutional FX pricing to FX withdrawals at ATMs

  • End-to-end ownership: you’ll be the lead on your initiatives - analyzing the ask, writing the spec, driving delivery, and closing the loop with testing and client reconciliation

  • Long-term, fully remote role with the stability that comes from working with a major bank

A successful candidate will have deep FX domain knowledge that comes from experience working in this field. It also requires an end-to-end BA/product ownership mindset. We need someone who can take a vague client ask, turn it into a clear spec, and see it through build, testing, and release without needing to be walked through it. The delivery process is flexible and should be tuned to a particular project’s needs. English proficiency is a must.

This is a fully remote role. You will be working through a Polish company that will provide the support and administrative assistance to make you successful in the role. We are looking for people to join the team long-term.

Only open to residents of Poland and Romania. Citizens and legal residents with permission to work in Poland or Romania are welcome.

Time zone: you’ll need a 2-3 hour daily overlap with US Eastern business hours - most meetings happen in the morning. Occasional off-hours support may be needed for production issues. During onboarding, you will need to have a bigger overlap with the US-based team.

What we offer

  • Real ownership: you lead your own initiatives end to end

  • Work that matters: your changes touch real client-facing FX execution, payments, and channels used at scale

  • Direct collaboration: work face-to-face with the business and the development team

  • Flexibility & remote work: fully remote position with increasing schedule flexibility post-onboarding

  • Competitive compensation: top pay and ample time-off flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery for an in-house-built FX platform serving internal/external clients and a wholesale pricing engine that supports external bank clients

  • Analyze and scope new client requirements, from an initial ask through to production release

  • Support client onboarding, working through the specific FX and API setup a new client needs

  • Manage work across multiple channels and interfaces (internal and external), and drive enhancements to each

  • Write BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases, and drive requirements through build, integration, and release

  • Run end-to-end trade lifecycle testing and confirm clients are receiving accurate reconciliation reports post-trade

  • Work closely with the engineering team and stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, and Compliance

  • Provide occasional support outside trading hours, mainly for Asia-hours issues. This is rare given how stable the systems are

  • Use AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery work where it makes sense

Requirements

Must have

  • 10+ years of capital markets experience with a strong focus on FX

  • Deep electronic FX domain experience:

    • Hands-on knowledge of FX products: spots, forwards, swaps, window forwards, window forward swaps, NDFs

    • Strong understanding of the full FX trade lifecycle: pricing, hedging, settlement, and payments processing

    • Experience delivering or enhancing electronic FX trading platforms, OMS, pricing/hedging engines, risk management systems, or trade capture platforms

    • Strong hands-on experience with FIX protocol, REST APIs, and message-based integrations (middleware/message bus)

    • Experience integrating with multibank portals (Bloomberg FXGO, FXall, 360T, Refinitiv, FX Connect) and liquidity providers

  • Strong business analysis skills:

    • Ability to lead requirements gathering, process design, write BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and drive a project end-to-end with minimal oversight

    • Ability to manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and prioritization.

    • Ability to perform data mapping, feed validation, trade reconciliation, and root cause analysis

  • Hands-on experience with UAT planning, regression testing, and end-to-end trade lifecycle testing

  • Comfortable flexing between agile and waterfall processes depending on the initiative

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable coordinating across Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology

Nice to have

  • Experience with API onboarding or venue certification

  • Prior experience with Murex, Calypso or WSS

  • SQL and hands-on data analysis experience

  • Experience with Postman/Swagger for API testing

  • Experience using AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery work

The recruitment process

  1. Submit your CV.

  2. Answer a few written questions at your own pace.

  3. Participate in a two-stage interview process:

    • Experience-based interview

    • Panel interview with the hiring manager and future team members

Successful candidates will need to pass a standard background check.
