Senior Business Analyst
Salary: $145 - $165ph (inc-Super) - weekly pay options
- 3 month contract - Immediate Start
- ACT onsite - No Clearance required
- Lead ethics approval, monitoring & reporting analysis
Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for producing authoritative health and welfare information and statistics, require the services of a Senior Business Analyst.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead discovery & requirements analysis activities relating to client's ethics approval, monitoring & reporting services;
- Facilitate workshops & interviews with stakeholders across business and ICT teams;
- Document current-state business processes, workflows, pain points & opportunities;
- Design future-state processes & service models;
- Elicit, analyse & document business, functional & non-functional requirements;
- Analyse workflow, records management, reporting & information management requirements;
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and improve user experience;
- Assess solution options & support option evaluation activities;
- Develop recommendations & implementation roadmaps;
- Support preparation of business cases, investment proposals & executive briefing materials.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst delivering business transformation, process improvement, digital service or ICT-enabled change initiatives;
- Proven ability to elicit, analyse and document business, functional & non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews & stakeholder engagement;
- Strong experience in business process analysis, process redesign, gap analysis & development of future-state operating models;
- Experience delivering business analysis services within government, health, research, regulatory or similarly governed environments (desired);
- Experience with workflow, case management, records management or digital service platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform or equivalent solutions (desired);
- Experience supporting procurement activities, solution evaluations, vendor engagements & technology replacement or modernisation initiatives (desired).
