Senior Business Analyst
Summary
Senior Business Analyst translates HSE needs into clear requirements, maps processes, and drives system enhancements from analysis to delivery in a fast-paced mining/resources tech environment.
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst who can hit the ground running from day one.
This is a short-term, delivery-focused assignment working across Health & Safety, Technology and Data teams. You’ll be working on HSE-focused initiatives, translating business needs into clear, structured and traceable requirements and taking them through to implementation, testing and business acceptance.

What you'll be doing
This is an initial 3-month contract with potential extension. The role will work across Perth and Kwinana, and candidates must be able to attend Kwinana as required.

We need you to have
- Senior BA with 5+ years' experience in complex technology environments
- Demonstrated experience working on HSE-focused initiatives
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation and process mapping skills
- Experience across data, reporting and system enhancements
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience working closely with Technology and Data teams
- Mining/resources experience highly regarded
- Quartex / INX experience advantageous but not essential
- Most importantly, you must be hands-on, autonomous and able to deliver with minimal ramp-up time
What you'll be doing
- Engage directly with HSE stakeholders to understand requirements, data and reporting needs
- Lead requirements gathering and AS-IS / TO-BE analysis
- Produce clear business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Map business processes and system interactions
- Work closely with Technology and Data teams to deliver solutions
- Support enhancements to HSE systems
- Develop test plans, coordinate UAT and manage requirements through to acceptance
- Ensure requirements remain traceable from initial business need through to delivered solution
