Senior Business Development Manager, Clinical Trial Diagnostic Services
Medicover Integrated Clinical Services (MICS) is a specialised business unit with the objective to help bring innovative therapies and diagnostics to the market. MICS is focusing on clinical applications and clients from pharmaceuticals, diagnostics biopharma, biotech, contract research organisations (CROs), biobanks, and other players. We have been providing bespoke services to our clients and their patients for over 20 years, making strategic use of Medicover assets, including laboratories with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, medical clinics and hospitals, as well as the vast expertise and enthusiasm of a workforce that has grown to more than 28,500 professionals. MICS’ services include and are organised along discrete lines of activity, including: Central Lab Services, Biospecimen Management, Patient Recruitment, Management and Data, and Precision Medicine. Tightly integrated in all Medicover geographies and beyond, MICS employs a dedicated team of highly specialized experts including clinical and diagnostics experts, contract research professionals, account managers, project managers, logistics, regulatory and commercial experts. The major markets are Germany, Ukraine, Romania and Poland.
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and biotech firms.

Oversee the development of client proposals and ensure they align with the needs of prospective and existing clients.

Lead the proposal development process, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met.

Liaise with sponsors to establish research standards, timelines, and expectations.

Represent the organization at industry conferences, promoting its diagnostic expertise and broadening the client base.

Provide input on the development of new diagnostic solutions based on client demand and market needs.
Strategic Account Planning & Client Management:

Support Commercial Leader and General Manager in development and implementation of strategies to grow revenue and achieve strategic objectives for key accounts.

Identify new opportunities within existing key accounts and build new relationships with potential clients.

Maintain and update Business Development databases to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Collaboration with Operational Teams:

Partner with the operational leaders and teams to ensure that commercial strategies align with service delivery capabilities.

Collaborate with operational teams to address client concerns and ensure service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or other related filed.

3+ years of experience in sales or business development.
-
Experience within clinical trials, diagnostics, or healthcare is a plus.

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-lasting client’s relationships.

Understanding of the clinical trial landscape, including diagnostic services and regulatory requirements is a plus.
