Responsibilities
Acting BOM in 2 facilities with accountability for supporting the growth strategy, supporting the CEO in management of the P&L, and overall goal execution of Business Office Operations.
Key Roles
- Clinical Quality and Patient Safety: Champion SCAH's HRO Journey with responsibility to ensure leaders, teams, and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards
- Facility Partnership Performance: Responsible for assisting and supporting the facility CEOs in the management of the P&L of 2 Direct oversight of all Business Office Operations, leveraging support and resources from appropriate support services including, but not limited to, RCO, FinOps, Market Accounting, and Catalyst. Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing Business Office professionals focused on high quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, and operational excellence.
- Support Teammates: Recruits, leads, mentors, and develops high-performing teams of facility teammates, modeling and promoting SCA's Values, supporting teammate growth, and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for direct supervision of non-medical personnel, including orientation and evaluation.
- Coordinate the Business Offices so that the operation is most efficient for all concerned.
- Works closely with Business Office teams to ensure the flow of the overall operation is most efficient, reporting all activities to the CEO/Administrator.
- Works closely with the Administrator to promote the utilization of the Surgery Center.
- Manages oversight of day-to-day business operations for 2 facilities to ensure strong facility leadership, clinical excellence and patient care, operational and financial performance, and teammate and physician relationships and engagement
- Works cross-functionally with all support services lanes, including clinical, finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, D&I, Legal, Compliance, HR, and all functions to gain alignment and collaborate on mutual goals

Qualifications
Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Years of Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, 2+ years of leadership experience.
Preferred Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ASC, outpatient, surgical site, and multi-site healthcare settings, preferably in Business Office Manager role.
