Job Description

The Senior Business Support Specialist, Inventory is responsible for inventory planning, material readiness, and customer coordination to support smooth repair supply chain operations. The role ensures inventory accuracy, optimal stock levels, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory transactions, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage stock control processes and maintain inventory integrity.
  • Track inventory performance metrics including inventory accuracy, aging inventory, excess and obsolete stock.
  • Support inventory planning, replenishment and material allocation activities.
  • Monitor demand forecasts, consumption trends and supply risks.
  • Ensure timely material availability to support operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on inventory status, supply risks and recovery plans.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support reporting, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory management standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in inventory planning, material control, supply chain coordination or related operations environment.
  • Experience supporting logistics, manufacturing, repair or service operations is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP and inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
