Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst – Wealth Management & SQL

Role Summary

Seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the modernization of a portfolio management platform. The role will lead functional analysis, requirements, system/data analysis, integration design, and collaboration with business and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  
• Create functional specifications, user stories, use cases, data mappings, and system flows.
  
• Perform hands-on SQL/data analysis and reconciliation.
  
• Analyze APIs, batch processing, event-driven flows, and system integrations.
  
• Analyze legacy systems and define modernization/future-state solutions.
  
• Trace end-to-end data across upstream, processing, and downstream systems.
  
• Support production issue analysis and RCA.
  
• Use AI-assisted tools for analysis, requirements, and documentation.
  
• Partner with business, architecture, data, and engineering teams.
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years as a BSA, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
  
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  
• Strong experience with functional specifications, data mappings, and system flows.
  
• Experience with APIs, batch processing, and system integrations.
  
• Experience with system modernization/transformation.
  
• Wealth Management / Capital Markets experience.
  
• Understanding of positions, transactions, valuations, and performance.
  
• Strong communication and ability to work across complex enterprise systems.
  

Nice to Have: Agile / Waterfall experience.
