Senior Buyer/ Purchaser (Medical Device, Up to $6700) #HCG

Job Responsibilities

• Review material requirements and manage purchase orders to ensure timely material availability for production.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize excess and obsolete stock.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve supply issues, and improve supplier performance.
• Monitor and maintain procurement KPIs, SAP data accuracy, and purchasing workflows.
• Resolve supplier quality issues and support supplier audits.
• Coordinate purchasing specification changes, new product development, and product transfers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Supply Assurance Manager in departmental initiatives and process improvements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on SAP experience and good understanding of ERP/MRP concepts.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and supplier management.
• Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Supervisory or people management experience is preferred.
