Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a top-tier or Russell Group university, supported by A-level grades of A or above.
  • We are looking for a senior, backend-focused C# developer with strong experience in modern C# and .NET Core.
  • Python skills would also be an advantage.
  • We expect strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and experience across the full software development lifecycle.
  • We value a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including OOP, data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
  • We are seeking someone who enjoys collaborating, problem solving, and working on complex, distributed systems.
  • We want a technologist who is excited to join a start-up and help shape and influence the role.
Responsibilities:
  • We collaborate with a small, talented team to deliver our core platform using the latest versions of C# and .NET.
  • We produce high-quality code and take ownership of technical projects.
  • We work across the full development lifecycle to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • We contribute to complex, high-impact systems within our FinTech platform.
  • We join our team onsite in our brand-new Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis, with flexible working hours where applicable.
