About this opportunity:

Ericsson is looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join the Packet Core, Session & Mobility team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will contribute to the development of production software that is critical to Ericsson’s Packet Core portfolio and future telecom solutions.

You will work in a collaborative and agile environment, partnering with engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software. This is an opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to software architecture, and help shape solutions for 5G and beyond while continuing to grow your expertise in cloud-native and distributed systems technologies.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and test production software using modern C++.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, and stakeholders to define and deliver solutions.
• Drive software quality through testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment and maintenance.
• Work within an agile, self-organizing team focused on delivering reliable and maintainable products.
• Contribute to technical discussions, knowledge-sharing activities, hackathons, and technology initiatives.
• Support the evolution of solutions involving cloud and containerization technologies.

The skills you bring:

• Several years of professional software development experience with strong C++ expertise.
• Strong software design and architecture skills, with a focus on quality, testability, and long-term maintainability.
• Experience within Packet Core, Session & Mobility, telecom, networking, distributed systems, or related technology domains.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to team success.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, continuous learning, and an interest in developing new technical capabilities.
• Experience from other relevant technology areas is also valued.
