Senior C++ Developer

Vertex Technologies, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Senior C++ Developer in its office in Egypt. You’ll be part of a team of professionals who develop software in various fields like video processing, 3D graphics, embedded systems, etc.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science;

• 7+ year experience in commercial projects;

• Solid knowledge of C/C++ (C++14 and later);

• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture;

• Knowledge of STL containers and algorithms;

• Understanding of the modern SDLC, experience with Jira and GitHub/GitLab;

• Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner;

• English speaking level B2 or higher.

WILL BE A PLUS:

• Proven track record in Linux development;

• Skilled in developing cross-platform applications using Qt and QML;

• Experience in developing video applications (encoding/decoding, processing, and streaming);

• Familiarity with CMake, Conan, and Docker;

• Competency in Yocto image configuration and layer management
