As a Senior Environmental Data Engineer, you will build custom tools, reports, and workflows for environmental data management. The work includes ETL pipelines, secure REST APIs, T-SQL, Azure services, and EQuIS solutions. You will also support engineering quality through testing, reviews, documentation, and Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build custom tools, reports, and EQuIS data workflows
- Design ETL pipelines for laboratory, field, and logger data
- Develop secure REST APIs connecting EQuIS with other systems
- Write and optimize T-SQL against Azure SQL and SQL Server
- Support Azure deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and data requests
Requirements:
- 10+ years of environmental data management experience
- 5+ years developing C# and modern .NET applications
- Strong SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL proficiency
- Experience with secure REST APIs, ETL, and Azure deployments
- Experience customizing solutions within the EQuIS ecosystem
