Summary

Core stack includes Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, ELK, and microservices.

Build high-throughput C# .NET Core services in Montreal’s hybrid Capital Markets technology environment, supporting real-time risk and interest rate systems.

As a Senior C# .NET Backend Developer, you will own server-side architecture and core services for mission-critical financial applications. Your work will support global trading desks through low-latency processing, distributed architectures, and complex data pipelines. This is a pure backend engineering role, not primarily ASP.NET Web or frontend full-stack development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and optimize high-throughput C# .NET Core backend services
  • Scale real-time market risk and interest rate computation engines
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, and trading desks
  • Provide tier-three backend support during North American market hours
  • Improve CI/CD, telemetry, and distributed messaging infrastructures

Requirements:

  • Eight-plus years of dedicated C# .NET Core backend experience
  • Expertise in concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and microservices
  • Production experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, ELK, APIs, and Git
  • Knowledge of SOLID, clean architecture, testing, and BDD
  • Fluent English and Canadian work authorization required

Apply your backend engineering expertise to low-latency financial systems, real-time risk computation, and distributed services in Montreal.
