  • Knowledge of working in REVIT environment inclusive of Steel/Concrete/Point cloud/Pre-cast/ Cast in situ working models.
  • Agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project engineer and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience of working on projects of various sizes, independently and as part of a project team
  • Experience of working on a number of projects across different sectors
  • Knowledge of both Structural and Architecture disciplines.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed 2D drawings (GA, sections, details) for tunnelling and underground structures using AutoCAD.
  • Develop drawings based on inputs from engineers, design reports, and sketches, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist in preparing drawings for:
  • Tunnel linings, cross passages, shafts, and portals
  • Temporary works (e.g., excavation support, sheet piles)
  • Reinforcement detailing where applicable
  • Coordinate with engineers to resolve design queries and incorporate revisions
  • Maintain drawing standards, numbering, and documentation control as per project or client requirements
  • Support the team in meeting project timelines and delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Participate in QA/QC checks for drawings.
  • Contribute to 3D modelling in Revit for tunnels and underground works to support BIM workflows.
  • Good understanding of working for international offices and standards
  • Good knowledge of industry standards and international codes

Core Functions:

  • Understand scope of work and delivery schedule from Senior Leads
  • Input to the co-ordination of engineering services on projects.
  • Develop drawings from inputs received from Switzerland team. Make drawings and details into co-ordinated details by set manuals.
  • Prepare sketches / RFIs etc. as necessary for seeking clarification from engineers in Switzerland.
  • Prepare / amend models and / or drawings to specified WSP in Switzerland REVIT standards.
  • Suggest revisions to standards / templates / custom settings as appropriate.
  • Use templates for REVIT work and use Standard library items to assist detailing/design work.
  • Provide advice and coaching to technicians on intermediate REVIT functions when requested.
  • Follow QA, document control, archiving guidelines on all work.
  • Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.
  • Managing small and medium BIM Models for structures using REVIT Structures.

  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
  • Experience of having worked in a similar role.
  • Competence in REVIT/ AutoCAD
  • Minimum Diploma in CAD with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • It is desirable that the candidate has obtained professional registration such as EngTech with ICE, UK or close to attaining the same.
