Senior Calypso Infrastructure Engineer
Summary
Operates and maintains the Calypso capital-markets platform across development, testing, acceptance, and production environments, owning deployments, releases, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting, and supporting its migration to cloud/SaaS infrastructure. Core stack: Calypso, databases, middleware, scripting, and automation, preferably with Azure.

At the core of the role
We are looking for a Calypso Operations Engineer to operate and maintain the Calypso platform across development, testing, acceptance, and production environments. You will own deployments and releases, keep the platform highly available and stable, and support its migration to modern data center, cloud, or SaaS infrastructure.
You will work closely with internal and external specialists, sharing technical knowledge and proactively identifying and escalating risks.
Core skills you’ll bring
Hands-on experience with the Calypso platform, including application operations, release, and environment management
Experience in database and middleware administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Expertise in deployment and release management, including rollback planning across multiple environments
Experience with scripting and deployment automation
Knowledge of high-availability architectures, monitoring, and alerting
Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes
Fluent English communication skills
Nice-to-have
Cloud and modern data center infrastructure experience, preferably Microsoft Azure
Experience supporting platform migrations to cloud or SaaS
Experience in capacity planning and maintaining operations and security documentation
The impact you'll create
Plan, coordinate, and execute deployments and releases, including rollback procedures
Manage environments and automate recurring operational tasks
Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure platform availability and stability
Troubleshoot issues, analyse performance bottlenecks, and drive root-cause resolution
Track operational KPIs such as availability, deployment success rate, incidents, and MTTR
Support the migration of the Calypso platform to modern data center, cloud, or SaaS infrastructure
