Senior Camunda 8 Developer - Backend Architecture

Role Overview :

As a Senior Camunda 8 Developer, you will serve as the technical lead for designing and implementing sophisticated process automation solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate intricate business requirements into efficient, scalable workflows.

Your work will directly influence the agility and efficiency of our clients' core operations, ensuring that complex business logic is executed seamlessly within high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop complex business processes using BPMN 2.0 standards to ensure high availability and performance for enterprise-grade applications.

- Implement sophisticated decision logic using DMN and FEEL expressions to automate critical business rules and reduce manual intervention.

- Integrate Camunda 8 with existing microservices architectures and cloud-native ecosystems to create unified, end-to-end automated workflows.

- Optimize process execution by identifying bottlenecks and refining workflow models to improve overall system throughput and reliability.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and promote best practices in process automation development.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying enterprise-level process automation solutions.

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Camunda 8, with a strong command of BPMN, DMN, and FEEL for modeling complex business logic.

- Exhibit advanced knowledge of Java or Spring Boot development to build custom connectors and extend Camunda functionality.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

- Adapt quickly to the collaborative, on-site work environment in Pune, contributing to team-based problem solving and agile delivery cycles.

- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, reflecting a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
