Senior Civil and Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at a leading engineering consultancy based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural design and will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Chemical, and Industrial sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining and assimilating relevant design input from the Lead Engineer and other project stakeholders, ensuring that all design deliverables adhere to applicable codes and standards. You will coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines and engage in vendor interactions to facilitate project success. Key responsibilities include: - Preparation and checking of design deliverables in accordance with the quality plan. - Monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents. - Conducting thorough reviews of critical systems in collaboration with the Lead Engineer to produce high-quality outputs. - Incorporating Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles into engineering designs and processes, ensuring a safe working environment for all engineering teams. - Conducting EHS risk assessments for engineering projects and implementing measures to mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. - Providing EHS training to engineering staff and fostering a safety-conscious culture within the team.
