Senior Cloud Backend Engineer (Java) – Microservices & AWS

Garmin Italy Technologies in Massarosa, Tuscany, is seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer (Cloud) to design and develop scalable cloud applications using Java and related frameworks.

You will work with Azure and AWS, microservices, and CI/CD, participate in code reviews, and ensure high-quality software through TDD and robust testing.

The role requires 5+ years of backend Java experience, a Master’s degree, and strong English communication; on-site team across locations.

Design and develop scalable cloud solutions in Java. Contribute to peer code reviews and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain RESTful microservices with Docker/Kubernetes. Work with Azure and AWS cloud platforms for deployment. Master’s degree in a technical discipline. 5+ years of Java backend development experience. Strong knowledge of Spring MVC/Boot and Hibernate.
