Summary
Senior Data Engineer builds and scales a cloud-native data platform using GCP, BigQuery, Python, and Terraform to support a German e-commerce marketplace.
Our client is a German product company, the leading marketplace for promotional merchandise in Germany, SOURCE WERBEARTIKEL. They are looking for a Senior GCP Data Engineer to help develop and scale their modern cloud-native data platform.
Work format - fully remote.

- 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong hands-on commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong experience with BigQuery.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Practical experience building ELT pipelines.
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience with Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience developing production-grade data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of modern data platform architecture.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
- High level of ownership and ability to work independently.

- Experience with Google Cloud Functions.
- Experience with Cloud Storage.
- Experience with Looker Studio.
- Experience in e-commerce or ERP projects.
English - Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.
