Day to day this means Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes platforms, and ownership of cloud governance, security, and FinOps.
Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, the successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising modern cloud environments whilst driving DevOps maturity across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
- Build, maintain, and optimise Infrastructure as Code environments using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, and AWS CodePipeline
- Lead containerisation and orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes
- Establish and improve cloud governance, security, compliance, and FinOps best practices
- Drive cloud transformation projects and contribute to enterprise platform strategy
- Define operational processes, monitoring standards, SLAs, and platform reliability frameworks
- Implement automation solutions that improve deployment efficiency and reduce operational overhead
- Collaborate with engineering and technology teams to support scalable, resilient production environments

Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience within Information Technology, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related IT jobs.
- Proven experience designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade cloud platforms
- Strong hands-on experience across both AWS and Azure environments
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Strong CI/CD and automation experience across modern DevOps toolsets
- Practical production-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing cloud governance, security, compliance, and cost management practices
- Demonstrated leadership experience driving cloud transformation initiatives and DevOps maturity
- Experience defining operational processes, service delivery standards, and SLAs
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

Qualification:
