Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

In the Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) role, you will automate CI/CD, administer Kubernetes and related tooling, and use Terraform plus AWS CloudFormation to standardize deployments—apply today.
Responsibilities
- Architect cloud environments and implement infrastructure following best practices
- Automate release and deployment pipelines for cloud-hosted applications
- Track performance metrics and troubleshoot incidents to ensure reliability
- Partner with development and operations teams throughout the application lifecycle
- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes and other container orchestration platforms
- Ensure cloud security controls and compliance requirements are consistently met
- Develop infrastructure as code to enable repeatable, consistent deployments
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members
- Write and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on work experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency using container technologies like Docker in day-to-day engineering
- Experience managing container orchestration solutions including Kubernetes, Helm, or Apache Mesos
- Strong automation scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Solid background in Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with CI/CD solutions such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, or GitLab CI
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle RDBMS and MySQL
- Knowledge of Windows administration and operational practices
- Expert-level capability with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
- Excellent English (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher) verbal and written communication
