Senior Cloud Engineer
Salary: ฿60,000 – ฿80,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the implementation, migration, and operation of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will focus on building secure, automated, and resilient systems. You will act as the technical backbone of the team, working closely with outsourced partners and providing mentorship to Junior Cloud Engineers to ensure flawless execution.
Key responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop, maintain, and version control infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) to ensure consistency across environments.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure changes, embedding security-by-design principles.
Manage cloud security controls, address security vulnerabilities and incidents, and ensure strict compliance with relevant security policies.
Lead and execute complex workload migrations from on-premises environments or other cloud platforms to GCP, minimizing downtime.
Configure and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, performing deep-dive root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Actively support and maintain the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS), assisting in security audits and ensuring continuous compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
Collaborate seamlessly with outsourced teams, delegate tasks based on project priorities, and provide technical guidance and hands-on mentorship to Junior Cloud Engineers.
Work closely with the Cloud Solutions Architect and Sales team to facilitate smooth project handovers and successful technical deployments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or DevOps.
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD tools.
Proven track record of executing actual cloud migrations.
Solid understanding of networking, security controls, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Good problem-solving skills and a strong team player.
Proficient in Thai and able to communicate in English.
