Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect

APG WORKFORCE are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer or Cloud Architect to support a major Federal Government department delivering enterprise-scale cloud and digital transformation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, providing technical leadership, solution design, cloud architecture, and platform engineering expertise.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering or Cloud Architecture.
• Strong Azure experience including App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus and API Management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience with Azure networking, security and identity management.
• Experience integrating cloud solutions with enterprise platforms, including Dynamics 365.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Desirable

• Technical leadership or mentoring experience.
• Enterprise, solution or platform architecture experience.
• Experience designing and documenting large-scale cloud solutions.
• Exposure to AWS and/or GCP.
