Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

Senior Executive, Cloud Engineer role based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. You will support and maintain AWS cloud and infrastructure environments, monitor and optimize cloud services, and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain AWS cloud and infrastructure environments

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services and production systems

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions

• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Support cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices

• Participate in incident management and production support activities

About you

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• 6+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure operations

• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)

• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking, DNS, and Active Directory/LDAP

• Experience with monitoring tools and cloud troubleshooting

• AWS certification is an added advantage
